Battle of the Broadcast Stars

Last week, members of our Dallas Broadcast Media discipline teamed up with our partners at ABC National TV Sales to defend their 2013 title in the Battle of the Broadcast Stars, hosted by the Dallas Area Alliance for Women in Media. Each year, the winner is determined by a combination of field game wins and raffle ticket purchases, with all funds going towards the AWM Foundation, awarding scholarships to students and future Advertising professionals. The team quickly put points on the board this year by winning two out of five events, the Water Balloon Toss and the Wheelbarrow Race, but Moroch’s record-high amount of raffle tickets purchased put the team well in front of the competition and secured us the glory of winning the Golden Shoe trophy! Overall, the money raised supported a good cause, the team networked with fellow broadcast media folks in the Dallas area and another Moroch win makes it all worth it!
