Update: Metro Atlanta Paralympian Jarryd Wallace
At Moroch, our offices are spread across the country so that we can live in the markets we service for our clients. As members of these communities, we come across families, friends and acquaintances that have a true impact on us.
Back in February, I highlighted an article from the NY Times about a local Atlanta area young man training for the 2012 Paralympic Games in London.
As an update, I wanted to let everyone know that the USA 2012 paralympic track & field team was announced on July 1st, and Jarryd Wallace made the team. The qualification meet, which includes athletes from around the globe, culminated with an athelete from Great Britain setting a new world record in the 100M, with a time of 10.85 in the finals. Wallace placed sixth, at 11.44.
Good luck to Wallace and all of our Olympic and Paralympic athletes this summer.
