A Night at Billy Bob’s

Annually, the McDonald’s field team makes a trek to Dallas in order to discuss the client’s business, the agency’s business and to begin planning for the coming year. We have a tendency to cover more content than the 48 hours can handle, but we do find the time to have some fun and team bonding.

When the teams concluded business this year, they loaded up a few buses and headed to Fort Worth to have dinner and drinks at Billy Bob’s Texas - The World’s Larget Honky Tonk. I think I can honestly say that many of us haven’t been to a place like this before, and I can’t imagine it on a Friday or Saturday night.

Ice cold domestic beers and Texas barbecue made up the dinner menu. That was followed by an entertaining, albeit slightly long, Western-themed murder mystery story. The actors did a nice job of working the room and even including us as part of the story.

I suppose our table just wasn’t paying close enough attention to the details – we guessed wrong and walked away empty handed. The  night concluded with a few more beers and some Texas two-stepping.

While not everyone hit the dance floor, check out the video of locals Terry Brown and Chelsea Cox on the floor, as well as agency honcho Rob Boswell teaching his best moves to Randi Servetnik from the Philly office.

Great shot of TB in the lush hat. Keeping that one in my files. Love the two step footage.
