As part of Moroch’s
Bi-Annual Media Outreach Event, we partnered with
Buckner Shoes for Orphan Souls, an organization that works daily to provide essentials to those in need including meals, medical supplies, school supplies, and of course … SHOES.
In the grand scheme of things, shoes might not seem to be an essential need, however in many poverty stricken areas around the world, people are going barefoot daily or are living with shoes that are too small, too big and are falling apart. For children, shoes are required before being allowed to attend school. Sadly, many can’t afford such a luxury so school is not an option. This is where Buckner steps in and fills the gap.
Last week during the event, over twenty Morochians from our Moroch media discipline volunteered their time to support Buckner and those in need. We had a blast helping out such a great organization while also building lasting bonds that can only be formed when we pull ourselves away from our desk and lend a helping hand!
