Moroch Supports the Dallas Humane Society

Last month, 38 Morochians from our media discipline in Dallas participated in our Bi-Annual Media Outreach Program.  This year the group voted to lend a helping hand to our furry friends at the Dallas Humane Society, one of the only no-kill shelters in the city which has been saving cats and dogs for over 25 years. Our employees built and painted cat towers, socialized cats/kittens, prepared food for feeding time, bathed dogs to ready them for adoption, and last but definitely not least, laid stonework for the outside patio to create their new Urban Doggy Oasis. All of the animals at the shelter were friendly, happy and itchin’ to go home! The staff said that the animals’ behavior is 100 percent attributed to the volunteers that help keep the animals social and loved, which left our employees with that “feel good” feeling. The Dallas Humane Society relies fully on private donations in the form of volunteer time, dog/cat food and monetary funding to run the day-to-day needs of the shelter. If you’re animal lovers like we are at Moroch, learn more about how you can help at www.dognkittycity.org. Another way to get active in the local community is to sign up to lend a helping hand through www.voly.org.
